Why we made this
A small company, two founders, one belief: the stories your family tells deserve more than another app.
We started with a different product, and a problem we couldn't shake.
BabyMoments began life as Kinterak, a high-touch professional videography service. A videographer would visit your home, capture prompted memories on camera, edit the footage, and upload it to an app. The customers loved the result. We loved making it. But it wasn't sustainable: too much effort for our team, too much friction for the families we worked with.
What we kept from Kinterak was the insight. Most parents don't fail to capture their children's childhoods because they lack tools, they fail because they lack a system. The same is true for life stories. The same is true for the things we mean to tell the people we love. The structure matters more than the technology.

The stories that matter most are the ones we never quite get round to capturing. We're trying to fix that.
What we believe
That the way your child said their own name at three is more valuable than ten thousand identical photos. That your mother's stories about her own childhood will mostly disappear unless someone deliberately captures them. That there are things you've been meaning to tell people, and the gap between intention and action is where most of life's good moments quietly slip.
We believe a printed book is a different object from a video file. That an artefact you can hold survives platforms, formats, and decades of technological change. That fifty years from now, a great-grandchild will pick up a BabyMoments book on a shelf and learn something about a person they never met, and that this is a thing worth building a company around.
How we work
BabyMoments is a small bootstrapped company based in the UK. The arrangement is simple: you pay us, we keep your stories safe, we print you beautiful books. That's the whole thing.
No ads. No data sold.
We're funded by subscriptions only. We don't sell your data, don't train on it commercially, and don't have an ad model waiting in the wings.
No venture capital.
We don't have investors who need an exit. No pressure to pivot to advertising, sell to a bigger company, or shut down in five years.
Small team, real humans.
Support is written to by people and answered by people. We'd rather answer one question well than write a policy that answers nothing.
Where we go from here
We're building this carefully. We'd rather have a thousand families who use BabyMoments for decades than ten thousand who download it once and forget. We'd rather earn your trust slowly than promise something we can't deliver in twenty-five years.
If you're with us for the journey, start with BabyMoments, or just have a read of how we keep your stories safe. Either way, thanks for being here.

The promises we keep
Honest by default
No dark patterns. No countdown timers. No fake scarcity. We tell you what something costs and what it includes, plainly, every time.
Built to last
Encrypted UK storage (London region). Printed books with QR codes designed to keep working. A company structured to be around in twenty years, not flipped in five.
Private always
Your stories belong to you. We don't sell them, train on them, advertise around them, or share them with anyone you didn't choose.
